Christine Schroeder, PA-C

Christine joined Dr. David Crane and Bluetail Medical Group in May 2017.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Physician Assistant program in 1987 and has clinical work experience in cardiovascular surgery, hematology/oncology, and OB/GYN.  She has extensive knowledge and experience in regenerative medicine. In fact, she has trained many physicians across the United States.

Christine is certified in the use of biologics for sexual wellness and aesthetic procedures including hair restoration.  The procedures she offers are customized, comprehensive and state of the art.

Christine’s goal is to help patients feel well, move well and age well.

Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, skiing, paddle boarding and time at the lake with her husband and family.

 

 

 Devon Guckes, MSEd, ATC, LAT, Athletic Trainer

At Bluetail Medical Group, Devon assists Dr. Matt Bayes as a physician extender.

Devon was born and raised in central Missouri. She first became interested in athletic training during her undergraduate career at Truman State University. Upon graduation, she continued her pursuit of knowledge and education working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Northwest Missouri State University (NMSU).

In the summer of 2009, Devon interned at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. After earning her master’s degree from NMSU in 2010, Devon spent a year in Vail, Colorado participating in the Steadman Clinic athletic training fellowship program. During this program, athletic trainers learn to transition from sideline coverage to assisting sports medicine physicians in the clinical setting.

Devon enjoys running, hiking, live music, and spending time with her husband, Greg and their son, Gavin.

 

 

 

Paige Rakers, MMS, PA-C

Paige joined Dr. Matt Bayes and Bluetail Medical Group in February 2022. Her focus is on non-operative approaches to treatment, and she strives to help patients stay active in their recovery as they return from the sidelines.

Paige is from the small town of Carlyle, IL and sports have always been a major part of her life. After a 3-sport high school career including softball, volleyball, and basketball, she continued as a Division 1 student athlete playing basketball at the University of Michigan and Saint Louis University.

Following her playing career, Paige furthered her education at Saint Louis University’s Physician Assistant Program where she earned her Master of Medical Science and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for academic achievement. Paige’s goal is to combine her passions for athletics and living an active lifestyle to improve the lives of others by providing quality, patient-centered care.

Outside the office, Paige enjoys working out, traveling, playing softball and pick-up basketball, and spending time with her fiancé Joseph, family, and friends.

 

 

Raquel Russo, MPH, MMS, PA-C

Raquel joined Dr. David Crane and Bluetail Medical Group in February 2022. She is a Saint Louis native and is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health and live active lifestyles.

Raquel gained experience working for Dr. Crane as a scribe prior to attending graduate school. She earned master's degrees in Medical Science and Public Health from Saint Louis University in 2021, and she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for significant academic achievement in addition to leadership, research, and community service.

Outside of the office Raquel enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. She loves biking, hiking, water sports, and participating in recreational sports with her friends.

 

 

Tiffany Simon PA-C

Tiffany joined our team in 2018. She is a St. Louis native and has more than 10 years of experience specializing in general Orthopedics ranging from total joints to pediatrics. Additionally, she has worked in Orthopedic Trauma, Spine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Tiffany received a Bachelor of Science with a certificate in Cytotechnology from Jewish Hospital College of Nursing and Allied Health, and a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Missouri — St. Louis. She then went on to complete a Master of Medical Science, M.M.S. (Physician Assistant) from St. Louis University in 2007.

Tiffany is married with two children and enjoys an active lifestyle with her family. She enjoys the outdoors and healthy cooking. She loves hot yoga and participates in functional movement training.
