About Our Regenerative Medicine Clinic In St. Louis

Since 2008, the physicians at Bluetail Medical Group St. Louis have been early pioneers of the use of regenerative medicine to treat orthopedic injury and conditions. Founded by Drs. David Crane and Kristin Oliver, our St. Louis team has grown to a practice of four experienced orthopedic physicians, as well as numerous Physician Assistants, sports trainers, medical assistants, etc. who provide patients of all ages with the latest nonsurgical regenerative therapies and rehabilitation treatment options that promote the body's natural ability to heal itself. Individually and as a team, our physicians possess a wealth of knowledge and years of experience in the fields of non-operative sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and stem cell therapy. Our doctors serve our St. Louis area patients by accurately diagnosing the source of orthopedic pain and developing a non-surgical treatment plan to restore mobility, improving the life of every patient.

What Regenerative Orthopedic Treatments Are Provided?

Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC)

BMC is a procedure in which your body’s OWN bone marrow is extracted and then concentrated in an FDA-cleared device and injected into the area(s) of injury or chronic joint disease using ultrasound guidance to ensure exact placement. The concentration of cells works directly at the site of injury or degenerative joints/tissue to decrease pain, improve mobility, and can increase the healing potential of your body up to tenfold.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP is a concentration of your platelets (a part of your blood) obtained by spinning your whole blood in a special centrifuge. Platelets are what naturally begin the healing process in your body any time an injury occurs, releasing proteins that attract your body’s own healing responses to the injured area. The concentration of platelets in PRP allows your body to recognize the injury as a priority, thus leading to a quicker and more thorough healing process than your body is capable of doing on its own.

Who Can Benefit from Cellular Therapy and PRP?
